In conjunction with the Mayor's Office for Industrial and Manufacturing businesses, SIEDC operates the Howland Hook/North Shore Industrial Ombudsman Area, which stretches along Richmond Terrace from Arlington to West Brighton. This program aims to provide technical assistance, site selection, and advocacy services specifically for industrial and manufacturing businesses interested in relocating or expanding on Staten Island. Through the IOA program, SIEDC can access tax credits, can offer assistance in obtaining appropriate licensing and permits, and can help locate industrial and manufacturing sites that are appropriate for development. |
